DescriptionSet a maximum retail price of XOF 16 500 per 50 kg of fully broken rice (USD 0.59 per kg) in Bissau, and of XOF 17 000 per 50 kg (USD 0.61 per kg) for other parts of the country. The government would also take other steps to quell increases in domestic rice prices, including temporary tax relief measures, according to press reports.
