Notes The Government of Indonesia issued an oil palm replanting plan involving 4.7 million hectares of plantation. The initiative is aimed at boosting the crop’s productivity. Reportedly, average yields dropped to 2–3 tonnes of palm oil per hectare due to the deteriorating age structure of the country’s oil palms.
