DescriptionApproved an import quota of 45 360 tonnes of paddy for 2018, 70 percent of which was assigned to private sector entities and the balance to the Instituto de Mercadeo Agropecuario. Volumes purchased under the quota must be brought into the country by 30 June 2018 and will be liable to a 3 percent import tariff.
