DescriptionRemoved the country\'s 11 percent value-added tax on imports of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS).
NotesChina’s 11-percent value-added tax on imports of DDGs (dried distillers grains with solubles) will be removed on 20 December. Despite the tariff elimination, a resumption of DDGs imports from the United States appears unlikely, given that the anti-dumping and countervailing duties imposed on US-origin DDGs will remain in place (see also MPPU Feb.’17).
