DescriptionThe Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership was concluded. The agreement enables Australia to export 500 000 tonnes of feed grains, including wheat, to Indonesia. The exports would be free of duty in the first year, with 5 percent of annual growth in volume thereafter. In return, Australia would immediately eliminate all remaining tariffs on Indonesian imports. The agreement will be brought into effect by 2020.
