NotesThe Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the EU and Canada has entered into force provisionally on 21 September 2017. Concerning oilseeds, the agreement’s implementation entails the elimination – from day one – of the EU’s tariffs on Canadian rapeseed oil imports (see MPPU Dec.’16). CETA’s full and definitive application remains contingent upon ratification by all EU Member State parliaments.
