NotesThe Governments of Malaysia and India signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at helping raise the presence of Malaysian palm oil in the Indian market. The MoU provides a platform for Malaysian palm oil related agencies to explore together with Indian research institutions and other organizations new traits and applications of palm oil, specifically tailored to Indias fast growing market. The use of MSPO-certified palm oil (Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil) will also be promoted under the accord.
