DescriptionDecided that it would purchase 150 000 tonnes of paddy, 1.0 million tonnes of parboiled rice, and 150 000 tonnes of white rice from the 2019 Boro harvest. The supplies would be procured between 25 April and 31 August 2019, at BDT 26 per kg in the case of paddy (USD 305 per tonne), BDT 36 per kg for parboiled rice (USD 422 per tonne), and BDT 35 per kg for white rice (USD 411 per tonne).
