DescriptionEntered into force, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) among Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Singapore, on 30 December 2018, and in Viet Nam on 14 January 2019. The agreement includes tariff reduction clauses and tariff rate quotas to be implemented by each member country on a staggered basis, and covers a wide range of goods, including meat and meat products.
