DescriptionDecided to implement the storage incentive programme for 2019 second-semester crops in the departments of Arauca, Meta, Casanare, Vichada, Guaviare and the Paratebueno municipality of Cundinamarca, between 1 August 2019 and 30 December 2019. COP 11 billion (USD 3.2 million) were to be allocated for the purpose. The funds would be destined to extend a COP 29 000 (USD 8.4) monthly outlay to cover the cost of storing a tonne of paddy, for up to 126 436 tonnes of dry paddy (or its equivalent). The outlay would be granted on condition that these supplies are purchased at reference prices of COP 125 000140 000 per 125 kg of green paddy (USD 290325 per tonne)
