NotesPHILIPPINES – agricultural support: The Government has launched a new public-private partnership to provide assistance to the country’s coconut farmers. Under the programme, coconut agribusiness centres serving as one-stop-shops for coconut growers would be set up in each of the country’s 67 provinces. The centres will allow partner agencies to channel assistance to small coconut growers, while investors would link up directly with producer groups for the supply of raw materials or finished products.
