DescriptionUnder a Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and Viet Nam, the blocs oilseed and oilseed product exports to Viet Nam have been liberalized on 1 August 2020, while Viet Nams tariffs on EU olive oil imports would be phased-out over a three-year period.
NotesComprehensive, bilateral free-trade agreements European Union / Viet Nam: The Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and Viet Nam has come into force on 1 August, entailing the full liberalization of EU oilseed and oilseed product exports to Viet Nam and a 3-year phase-out of Viet Nams tariff on EU olive oil imports (see also MPPU July19 & May20).
