DescriptionAnnounced that customs duties were to be reinstated in mid-May 2021 at 135 percent for wheat imports, while for durum wheat imports would be charged a duty of 170 percent from 1 June 2021. The measures follow predictions that domestic wheat production will fully recover after two consecutive years of drought.
