DescriptionAnnounced that it would purchase 200 000 tonnes of paddy, 600 000 tonnes of parboiled rice and 50 000 tonnes of white rice from the 2020 Aman harvest. The procurement drive would be conducted between 7 November 2020 and 28 February 2021, respectively, offering BDT 26, 37 and 36 (USD 301, 429 and 417 per tonne) per kg of paddy, parboiled and white rice purchased.
