DescriptionApproved a budget of INR 609.4 (USD 7.9) billion to provide subsides on phosphatic and potassic fertilizers under the Nutrient Based Subsidy scheme during the 2022 Kharif campaign. The funds would allow subsidies on di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) to pass from an existing INR 1 650 per bag (USD 426 per tonne) to INR 2 501 per bag (USD 646 per tonne), applicable from April to September 2022.
