DescriptionAnnounced that the government procurement price for early Indica paddy harvested during the 2023/24 season would be raised by 1.6 percent to CNY 126 per 50 kg (USD 361 per tonne). Government procurement prices for late/intermediate Indica and Japonica paddy would instead remain at 2022/23 levels of CNY 129 and 131 per 50 kg (USD 370 and 376 per tonne), respectively.
