DescriptionDecided that, until 31 December 2022, the reserve price for rice under Open Market Sales Scheme (OMSS) would remain at INR 20 000 (USD 258) per tonne for state and central government schemes and for private entities engaging in ethanol production under the Bio-fuel policy. For all other private entities, the reserve price would be set at INR 22 500 (USD 291) per tonne, up 2 percent from the level set for the 2021/22 OMSS.
