DescriptionAnnounced that the Food Corporation of India would conduct e-auctions of rice and wheat to curb increases in domestic prices. In the case of rice, the auctions would be conducted under the Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) as of 5 July 2023, with a base price of INR 31 000 (USD 372) per tonne.
