DescriptionAnnounced that the Food Corporation of India would offload 2.5 million tonnes of rice through the Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) scheme and that the base price of auctions under the scheme would be lowered by 6.5 percent to INR 29 000 (USD 348) per tonne.
