DescriptionPermitted exports of 79 000 tonnes of non-basmati white rice to Bhutan, 14 000 tonnes of non-basmati white rice to Mauritius and 50 000 tonnes of non-basmati white rice to Singapore. The shipments would be exempted from the export ban on non-basmati white rice put in place in July 2023 and would be conducted through the National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL).
