DescriptionCeased its participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative, a mechanism brokered in July 2022 by the United Nations and Türkiye to facilitate the export of over 32 million tonnes of Ukrainian grain, oilseeds and other food stuffs through the Black Sea. The Russian Federation also withdrew security guarantees for navigation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
