DescriptionAnnounced that it would allocate BDT 899 million (USD 8.1 million) to support 1.44 million farmers cultivating hybrid rice during the 2024/25 Boro cycle. The support package would provide smallholder and marginal farmers with two kg of hybrid seeds, free of cost.
