DescriptionRaised government purchase prices for the 2023/24 season 33-50 percent above 2022/23 levels to TRY 18 000-24 000 (USD 560-USD 747) per tonne, effective from 27 October 2023. For Osmancık paddy, the government purchase price was raised to TRY 20 000 (USD 622) per tonne, up from the TRY 14 500 (USD 451) per tonne price applicable the previous season.
