DescriptionAfter raising the official exchange rate from ARS 366 per USD to ARS 800 per USD on 13 December 2023, the incoming administration announced that exporters would have to cash 80 percent of their export proceeds using the official rate, while the other 20 percent should be set with the "contado con liquidación" (CCL), a mechanism providing favourable exchange rates. Different from previous rounds, the measure was announced without an ending date.
