DescriptionReopened its grain export registry after an initial suspension on 11 December 2023. The register allows agricultural trading companies to export commodities including processed soybeans and maize. The suspension followed a sharp devaluation of the national currency on 13 December 2023, along with a new export regime allowing exporters to exchange 20 percent of their export earnings at a preferential rate, with the remainder being converted into Argentinian pesos at the official exchange rate.
