DescriptionStipulated that 300 000 tonnes of rice (whether paddy, husked semi/wholly milled, or broken) originated in Cambodia would continue to enjoy duty-free treatment per year, in 2023 and 2024, as part of a bilateral trade agreement between Viet Nam and Cambodia that was renewed on 2 June 2023. The 2023 tranche of the quota would apply to imports registered with customs authorities between 2 June and 31 December 2023, while the 2024 quota would apply to imports registered between 1 January and 31 December 2024.
