DescriptionRaised minimum biodiesel blending requirements in selected municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, after having temporarily eased them on 4 May 2024 following heavy rains which impeded transport of biofuels into the state. The Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP) indicated that starting 23 May 2024, S10 and S500 diesel in the municipalities of Esteio and Canoas must contain a minimum of 7 percent biodiesel.
