DescriptionRaised minimum support prices (MSPs) for the 2025/26 season (2024/25 season for Brazil), to be effective between February 2025 and January 2026. For the southern region (except Paraná), the MSP for fine long grain paddy was raised 5.0 percent above 2024/25 levels to BRL 1 273 (USD 234) per tonne, while for all other regions it was raised 10.0 percent above 2024/25 levels to BRL 1 333 (USD 245) per tonne. On the other hand, MSPs for long grain paddy were raised by 5 percent to BRL 432 (USD 79) per tonne for the southern region (except Paraná), and by 10 percent to BRL 493 (USD 91) per tonne for all other regions.
