DescriptionApproved a credit support scheme to support purchases of paddy harvested during the 2024/25 Yala crop cycle. Under the initiative, LKR 6 billion (USD 19.7 million) issued as pledge loans by public and private banks, at concessional rates, to support small and medium scale millers' purchase of Yala paddy.
