DescriptionAnnounced that it would supply 55 000 tonnes of muriate of potash, free of costs, to paddy producers over the 2025/26 Maha and Yala crop cycles. The scheme would be part of its efforts to double rice production over the next five cropping cycles, under a drive that would also include steps to boost yields over 100 000 hectares of paddies.
