DescriptionGave approval to import 500 000 tonnes of Grade 1 milled rice, free of import duties, until 30 November 2024. In addition, it allowed 34 614.5 tonnes of Grade 1 milled rice, that was bought abroad under a 2023 import quota but not delivered in time to qualify for the duty-free treatment, to enter the country free of import duties.
