The World Pulses Day Secretariat welcomes your participation in an open event to celebrate World Pulses Day 2023. This celebration will be held in a virtual format.

Pulses are particularly important for sustainable crop production, they play a significant role in improving soil fertility, and have a positive impact on the environment. As a source of proteins, pulses are particularly relevant for healthy diets. Pulses also contribute to creating livelihood opportunities and equity. The 2023 World Pulses Day’s theme will be: “Pulses for a Sustainable Future” with the following programme:
