Eat Right Millet Mela and Walkathon - Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, India

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) Branch Office - Visakhapatnam with the support of FSSAI Southern Regional Office - Chennai and Andhra Pradesh State Food Safety Department is organizing an event called ''Eat Right Millet Mela'' with Walkathon in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh on March 18th, 2023 under the aegis of International Year of Millets - 2023 and Eat Right India Initiative.

The event aims to promote the consumption of millets as a healthy and nutritious food option. The event will include a walkathon, where participants can walk and engage in physical activity while learning about the benefits of millets. Additionally, there will be various stalls and exhibits showcasing the different types of millets, their nutritional value, value-added products, and how they can be incorporated into everyday meals. The event is open to everyone, and participants can enjoy various millet-based dishes while learning about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet.
