The Harvest Day (Umuganura) was celebrated by FAO in the Rutsiro district in Western Province, Rwanda to honor the International Year of Millets 2023.
The harvest celebration is rooted in Rwandan culture. Sorghum, finger, and guinea millets were among the millets celebrated during the harvest.
