On the occasion of International Day of Forests, FAO Mongolia in collaboration with UB Hiking Club and Ministry of Environment and Tourism organized a Public hike to Baruun shireet peak of Bogd Han mountain. For this Sunday hike, total of 58 hikers joined the and walked over 12km to 1920m of height in the fresh air. During the hike, Mr. Enkhtaivan, Senior forestry specialist at Ministry of Environment and Tourism, provided small session on basic forestry understanding. He emphasized learning to love the forests is not only protecting the trees and woods, but it is an act of conserving a whole eco-system including water, biodiversity, air and more.

At the end of the trip, everybody gathered the litters around the mountain area.
