Inception meeting on “Strengthen of legal framework of organic food and agriculture” were organized bySDC funded “Mongol Nogoo” project implemented by FAO Mongolia in collaboration with Parliament member Ch.Undram’s office and MoFALI on 27^th of April 2022. The objective of the additional output is to study and make improvements on law on organic foods and agriculture.  

The following activities will be conducted within the planned activities such as, to carry out analysis on current law on organic food and other relevant laws and regulations, and to elaborate draft law and organization of public discussion and to prepare for presenting to State Great Khural.

In the meeting participated Parliament member Ch.Undram, T.Enkhtuvshin, UN FAO country presentative Vinod Ahuja, T.Jambaltseren, State secretary of MoFALI, D.Tungalag, head of food production policy implementation department of MoFALI and presented the presentation on current condition of organic food and agriculture sector; related laws and their necessity for improvements.
