International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure

The International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) brings together governments, organizations, institutions,  infrastructure stakeholders and the media to strengthen the global discourse on disaster and climate-resilient infrastructure.

Through ICDRI, the Coalition aims to generate action by providing a platform for decision-makers and influencers to:

  • explore shared challenges
  • identify priority areas for collaboration
  • forge new partnerships
  • showcase good practices
  • expand the Coalition

ICDRI 2024 is scheduled for 24 to 25 April 2024, in New Delhi, India. The theme of the conference is "Investing today for a more resilient tomorrow". The two-day hybrid conference will bring together governments, the global infrastructure community, multilateral development banks, and the private sector to agree on a roadmap for putting ideas to action to mobilize public and private investment in disaster-resilient infrastructure.

Sessions will map challenges and opportunities, identify and share good practices in policy, technologies, financial mechanisms, instruments and frameworks, and demonstrate pathways to enhance sustainable and resilient infrastructure investments.
