10th World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Government of Andorra, in collaboration with the parish of Escaldes-Engordany, will organize the 10th World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism on 21-23 March 2018. Since the first edition, the main objective of the Congress has been to provide a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities of snow and mountain destinations and to acquire an overview of successful business models, innovation, the impact of climate change and tourism marketing.

For three days, leading international experts will discuss topics linking mountain tourism to the most recent developments related to accommodation and the hospitality industry, quality and knowledge management, innovation in product development and booking technologies, and other related innovation in state-of-the-art marketing. The objective is to share expertise in these fields to ensure quality visitor experiences and the positioning of mountain areas as year-round destinations.
