Mountain Events at UNFCCC COP 25

To raise awareness about climate change’s effects on mountains, many organizations are coming together at the UNFCCC COP 25. Several events are dedicated specifically to mountain areas and promoting their resilience to climate emergencies.
Four Mountain Partnership events will take place at the UNFCCC COP 25:
•    “Nature-Based Solutions on the ground (SDG15): UN support to people and landscapes”, 9 December, 18:30—20:00, Room 1.
•    “Driving adaptation in mountains through community- and ecosystem-based innovation”, 10 December, 11:30—13:00, Room 3.
•    International Mountain Day celebration, 11 December, 8:30—10:00, Chilean Pavilion - blue zone.
•    “Building resilience of mountain communities: data and science for policy action”, 11 December, 16:45—18:15, Room 1.
