UNFCCC COP 28 / Meeting Room 12 - Call of the mountains: Who saves us from the climate crisis?

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of the Government of Nepal will host a high-level side event "Call of the mountain: Who saves us from the climate crisis?" on 2 December 2023 at 9.00-10.30 GST in Meeting Room 12. The event will call on all parties and mountain stakeholders to come together with a unified voice promoting the need to protect mountain ecosystems, heed to their call, and address the climate crisis. The event expects to bring out a summary note capturing key elements from the high-level deliberations, which will be shared with all stakeholders to continue raising the mountain agenda at the local, national, regional, and global levels.
