The Fifth Regional Meeting on Mountain Forests - First Symposium of Las Yungas Biosphere Reserve (Ten Years of Experiences and Challenges) will take place in  San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina, 30-31 May.

The meeting aims to bring together researchers from various disciplines working in the areas of mountain jungles and/or Las Yungas Biosphere Reserve to exchange knowledge and to identify possible future research projects.

The event is organised by Mountain Partnership member Foundation ProYungas together with Centro de Estudios Territoriales, Ambientales y Sociales (CETAS) of Jujuy National University, Centro de Estudios de Biodiversidad y Ecofisiología (CEBE – Faculty of Agrarian Sciences) of Jujuy National University and the Secretaría de Gestión Ambiental of the Province of Jujuy.

Deadline for abstracts is 15 March.
