National Scientific Conference: The Importance of Mountain Areas in Europe 2020 Strategy

The Committee on Management of Mountain Regions of the Polish Academy of Sciences will hold a national scientific conference on the importance of mountain areas on Europe 2020 strategy on 7 June in Wroclaw, Poland.

The aim of the conference is to assess the scale and scope of the influence of “Europe 2020" strategy on upland and mountainous areas. Topics under discussion will include the role of mountain areas in providing energy and food security, environmental strategy development and the role of local communities in development of mountain areas.

Deadline for applications is 28 February. Deadline for submission of abstracts is 19 April.
