Good living in the Alps! Creative responses to the scarcity of resources

International Commission for the Protection of the Alps (CIPRA) is organizing a conference on resource scarcity. Most natural resources are finite, in the Alps and elsewhere, so must be used carefully. The conference is entitled subject “Good living in the Alps! Creative responses to the scarcity of resources“ and it will be held in Annecy on 13-15 November 2014. |

The conference aims at enhancing the political relevance of resource scarcity and finding a way to move it higher up on the political agenda. Discussions will also focus on how to respond to resource scarcity in the new European Strategy for the Alpine Space (EUSALP), so that the Alps can continue to prosper. Those who are interested in the topic are invited to register for the conference by 7 November 2014.
