Second Edition of Alpen-Forum-Innsbruck

The Alpen-Forum-Innsbruck is an initiative aimed to provide a forum for public information and discussion to address the issue of climate change in the Alpine region. The second edition of forum will be held 20 October at 18.00 in the City Hall of Innsbruck, Austria. This event is open to the public.

The topic of discussion will be why energy efficiency is a major issue in terms of climate change mitigation in the Alpine region. Members of the audience are invited to tell how they personally and their municipalities are contributing to this cause.

The Alpen-Forum-Innsbruck is organized by Research Focus “Alpine Space - Man and Environment” and the France focus centre of the University of Innsbruck, the alpS-Research Center, the French Institute in Austria and the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention.
