“Climate Protection Now” Conference on Climate Change in the Alps

The International Commission for the Protection of the Alps (CIPRA) together with the association "Alpine Town of the Year" and the network "Alliance in the Alps" will host the “Climate Protection Now” conference on 29-30 October at the Centre for the Environment and Culture in Benediktbeuern, Germany.

The main focus of “Climate Protection Now” will be climate protection at the municipal level in the Alps. Experts and community representatives will speak on this topic, and participants will also have opportunities to meet with each other to discuss positive examples of Alpine communities that are taking action to address climate change.
