8th Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) Conference: call for abstracts

The 8th Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) Conference, organized by the University of Zagreb and Instituto Superior Tecnico - Lisbon and under the patronage of UNESCO - Paris, European Commission, DG RTD, FP INCO Programme - Brussels and other partner institutions, organisations and networks will be held from 22 to 27 September 2013 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The SDEWES Conference is dedicated to the improvement and dissemination of methods, policies and technologies for increasing the sustainability of development. For example de-coupling growth from natural resources and replacing them with knowledge based economy, taking into account its economic, environmental and social pillars, as well as methods for assessing and measuring sustainability of development, regarding energy, transport, water, environment and food production systems and their many combinations.

Authors willing to present a paper should submit an abstract in English, up to one page, using web form: http://www.dubrovnik2013.sdewes.org/call.php

These abstracts will then be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. The full archival papers will be peer-reviewed.

Please, submit your abstract before the February 15, 2013 deadline.
