International Conference on Climate Change, Water Resources and Disasters in Mountainous Regions: Building Resilience to Changing Climate

The Society of Hydrologists and Meteorologists Nepal (SOHAM-Nepal), the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) of the Government of Nepal, and UNESCO International Hydrological Programme Nepal (IHP) National Committee will jointly organise an International Conference on Climate Change, Water Resources and Disasters in Mountainous Regions: Building Resilience to Changing Climate from 27 to 29 November 2013 in Nepal.

The Conference will provide scientists, engineers, planners and development workers with a platform to present their research outcomes, observations, findings and innovative ideas. The themes include: climate variability and changes, water resources management, land degradation, hazards and disaster risk reduction.
