The Sacred Art of Weaving in Crete

The Benaki Museum will feature an interactive exhibition by the Penelope Gandhi Mission in which students from schools all over Greece will experience and learn the traditional Cretan techniques and philosophy of mountain culture, such as weaving, dyeing and spinning from Cretan weavers. The mission is an innovative, volunteer, non-government initiative of the University of the Mountains.  Read more
