Pastures for the future in Kyrgyzstan

CAMP Alatoo will hold a workshop on pastures for pilot village administrations as part of the project ‘Biodiversity conservation and integrated management of pasture and wildlife’. During the  five-day meeting, the spatial distribution of livestock will be presented based on the maps developed by the project, according to the capacity of each pasture area. In the future and according to the results of this workshop, a joint plan between hunting companies and pasture committees will be developed to agree on land use.

CAMP Alatoo is a Mountain Partnership member that promotes sustainable development of mountain regions of Kyrgyzstan, focusing on the sustainable use of natural resources to improve livelihoods. Read more
