National Youth Day in Tajikistan

In cooperation with the local government and civil society partners, the Centre for Climate Change and Disaster Reduction will conduct a series of events in Khorog, the capital of the mountainous Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO), for National Youth Day in Tajikistan on 23 May.

CCDR, together with Youth for Mountainous Development (YMD), will conduct information sessions and screen videos to encourage youth to participate in research and to address the issues of youth employment and social entrepreneurship.

In partnership with the local Youth, Sports & Tourism and Women & Family Affairs Committees, local volunteers, CCDR and YMD will organize the Youth Folk Festival in Khorog to promote bio-cultural preservation among youth. Read more
